Weekly News: June 3rd-5th

Last Weekly News!  We have had so much fun together this past week. We have been playing fun games, reading our favorite books, cleaning up our classroom, and working on fun projects. We even visit a first grade classroom and learned what it is going to be like in first grade next year.  Only 3 more days left! Here is what we'll be doing: Monday, June 3rd:   Pajama Day!  Wear your favorite pajamas to school. We will have a fun assembly in the morning, then relax and read and play games together.  Tuesday, June 4th:  BSC Field Day.  We are having a school FIELD DAY with all of kindergarten, first and second grades, and TK friends! We will rotate through fun centers outside in the morning. Please dress your child in comfortable clothes (they  MAY  get wet) and comfortable shoes they can run in. You may also want to put sunscreen on your child in the morning because we will be outside for a few hours. Thank you so much for your support! We will also be celebrating all sum

Weekly News: May 27-31 I hope you have a relaxing Memorial Day weekend with your families. Can you believe we only have seven more days of kindergarten??  The students have  been working SO HARD learning this year! We will enjoy our last 7 days together doing fun end-of-the-year projects, playing games, reading our favorite books together, and writing about everything we have learned in kindergarten and how much we have grown! We have been having so much fun counting down our last days of kindergarten together! We pop a balloon each day with a fun activity for the day to help us celebrate!  There will be no more book bags coming home this week. Be sure to check your child's backpack for art projects coming home, Father's Day writing and book, and everything coming off of the walls! Weekly News: May 20-24 Each child took his or her plant pal home on Friday. Make sure to give it plenty of water, sun, and air so it will grow! This week we are learning all about the seasons and weather.  There is no more Success Academy and this is the last week of electives. There is no school Monday, May 27th due to Memorial Day. Have a nice three day weekend with your families.  End of the Year Events:   The end of the year is coming quick and I wanted to let you know {IN ADVANCE!} what we have planned! Weekly News: May 13-17 Thank you all SO much for making me feel so beyond appreciated during our Teacher's Appreciation week! I loved every flower, note, treat, supply, and donation to our classroom! THANK YOU!!! Can you believe that we only have three more full weeks left of kindergarten?! This year and my time with the students has flown by! I am amazed and so proud of how each and every student has grown and at how they have grown as a class. I am looking forward to having a fun-filled last few weeks together. We enjoyed honoring our mothers on Friday at our Mother’s Day Celebration.  Thank you for joining us for this very special day.  I hope all of you wonderful mothers enjoyed your day and had a lovely Mother's Day weekend.  This week we are studying and learning all about plants. Students will be planting their own little "potted plant pal" to take home on Friday.  The kids did a fantastic job sharing their community service projects! Thank you

Weekly News: May 6-10  IT'S TIME! Community Service Projects are due and will be presented THIS  WEEK!   Please send projects in any day THIS WEEK, May 6 - May 10.  However, if you would like your child to be considered for our school leadership banquet, projects must be turned in by Wednesday. A kindergarten student from each class will be selected to present to our administration and school board. From there, students may have the opportunity to be invited to our ILCS Leadership Banquet. Please have your child practice the presentation.  R emember that your community service project is a required part of our curriculum at Inland Leaders.  I am looking forward to seeing all of the projects.  Thank you! We are excited for our very special Mother's Day centers on Friday. We will begin RIGHT AT 11:00 so please plan on arriving by then.
